COMBO PROGRAM: Advanced Musicianship

Keyboard Advanced Musician Group Class + Private Lessons

Ages 8–18

Enhanced with Trinity College London curriculum, the Advanced COMBO Program offers a combination of 2 optional college AP courses: 1) TCL Music Theory and 2) TCL graded Piano course. Advanced levels 12, 13, and 14 are eligible for college credits in most U.S. colleges. Additional fees are required for the actual TCL exams.

What to know before choosing a program and private-lesson length.

What is included in a Music COMBO program?

Each 20-week COMBO program includes 20 group classes and 20 private lessons. The group class develops musicianship, theory, ensemble skills, and musical understanding, while private lessons focus on technique, repertoire, and the student’s individual goals.

Which COMBO program should my student choose?

The Beginner–Intermediate program is for students ages 5–16 who are building foundational and intermediate musicianship. Advanced Musicianship is for students ages 8–18 who are ready for higher-level study and may want to follow optional Trinity College London pathways. OSM can help confirm the appropriate placement.

How do I choose the private-lesson length?

Choose 30, 45, or 60 minutes based on the student’s age, level, repertoire, concentration, and goals. Longer lessons allow more time for advanced technique, repertoire, theory, and exam preparation.

How does the payment plan work?

Families may make one semester payment or choose five payments charged every four weeks. The pay-in-full semester option includes built-in savings.

Are Trinity College London exams included?

No. The Advanced COMBO program includes TCL curriculum-enhanced study, but official TCL exam fees are separate. The optional TCL private-piano enhancement is also an additional track for students preparing for the TCL Piano exam.

How do I register?

Open the OSM registration form using either program’s Register Now button. In the form, select the appropriate COMBO program and provide the requested student and lesson information.
